Back in June 2017, the Salmon siblings Tom and Grace came together knowing they wanted to start a company in the make-up or fashion industries. With the soon added help of Vazi and Sev the four of them knew they were looking to innovate the industry by allowing a new level of customisation, and went on the search for what the people wanted! They asked around, they heard your feedback and soon after in the early days of 2018 Beauty Crush was born with a plan to produce the most customisable palette around, and they did just that! 6 months later, it’s June and the first palette is sent out to a happy customer under the new name of Beautonomy.
Later in November and Beautonomy had the luckiest of all problems for a startup, we went viral. Orders came flooding in globally and our small London team of 10 admittedly became a bit overwhelmed! 2 months of overnight shifts, sofa naps and Christmas present pressures and the backlog was caught up. Next step? Learning from our mistakes from the hectic Christmas period and getting a team ready for the next time we went viral.
Since Christmas we’ve listened to your suggestions on how we could improve, hired a dedicated Customer Service team and redesigned our printing process. So has it worked? We certainly like to think so, we are proud of the service we’re offering and while we’re still young with a lot to learn, we’re a passionate team with a strong goal; to make the best customisable palettes around!
