We are based in London in the United Kingdom (UK).
Customs fees do not apply to orders being shipped within the UK or European Union (EU).
If your order is being shipped outside of the UK and EU, then it may be subject to import custom fees, charges or duties.
Customs charges are usually requested and collected before orders are delivered. Payments are usually processed by national postal services or courier partners. Specific arrangements vary by region.
When do customs charges apply?
The value of a purchase at which taxes are likely to apply for our most popular shipping destinations (approximately):
USA: $800 USD
Canada: $20 CAD
How will I know what my customs charges are?
The way in which you will be informed about your custom charges, if they apply, will depend on which type of courier service you choose.
They do not apply in the United Kingdom or European Union. For other regions the following applies:
Standard shipping (DHL Global)
Prior to delivery, you will be contacted by DHL or your national postal service with details of how much your custom charges are and how to pay them.
Express shipping (DHL Express)
You will be informed of the custom charges that will be applied to your order before you checkout on the beautonomy.com website. You will then be able to pay the charges via the DHL Express Mobile app and the DHL express website prior to your order being delivered.
Refusing to Pay Customs
If you choose to refuse the customs fee your order will be returned back to Beautonomy. A shipping & handling fee may be deducted from your refund.
If you're still unsure on whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we'd recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
